In Allyria the existance of divinities is something certain. The eight have shaped the world for millenia. Spirits exist and communication with them is possible, even if uncommon.

Noble Gods

The are the main and most recognized divinities of Allyria.

In the cult of the Noble Gods is strongest, but even here the eigth divinities are not venerated equally. Every region of Malyria has its major and minor gods.

Only in the city of there are temples for all the eight Noble Gods.

Orders and Pacts

The Noble Gods are of the same pantheon, but exist a silent conflict between priests of different divinities. The cults of one or the other god secretly fight for influence and followers.

In the middle of this subtle conflict are the : groups of faithful, priests, fighters and politicians, whose objective is both worship and proselytism.

Then there are the : smaller groups of worshippers that live by the teachings of the divinities with no interest in the conflict.

Myths and Secrecy

Much of the ancient history of Allyria has been forgotten and with it the stories of the Gods. For centuries the priests of the Noble Gods have buried and kept the secrets of the past, but without any malice. The people of and beyond know well that they are being kept in the dark, but this is the normalcy. For this reason there are no sacred texts, only legends and a millennias old oral tradition. Even the meaning of the name of the current age (“In Defiance”) is a secret for the people.
