What waits in the moonlight?
Maybe a promise made at the stars,
maybe a river of quicksilver red.

After the
After centuries, the minds of the vampires have deteriorated, and most of them do not recall anything of the ages past.
The Axioms of Servitude
As part of their creation, vampires were sung to respect a set of rules, known
as Axioms of Servitude. Given that vampires do not have
The exact content of these axioms cannot be expressed with words, but these are the reason for which a vampire is forbidden from enter someone’s house uninvited or from killing someone unless he breaks the rules of the house he’s in.
Biology
Vampires – in their natural form – present two pairs of feather wings, a tail, two long horns and arms that end in four deadly claws.
The vampire is one of few known creatures to be immortal, they do not age and have can survive without food or water. When a vampire dies, be it by natural causes or otherwise, its body reforms after some days, this still provokes a loss of power.
Weaknesses
Vampire are susceptible to the light of the sun, it weakens them, stops their natural regeneration, and impedes them from using their supernatual abilities.
Shapechangers
The skin hides what the hearth sings.
A vampire can assume the appreance of any humanoid he feeded on. This transformation does not remove their weakness to sunlight.
A shapechanged vampire is difficult to identify, eye and magic means cannot discern it from a the creature it has transformed into. But there are ways one can identify a shapechanged vampire. The hearth of a vampire does not beat, instead it emits a melody, similar to a lullaby. Moreover a vampire must respect the Axioms of Servitude and so can enter the home of someone only if invited.
Killing a Vampire
There are two ways to eliminate a vampire. The first is to pierce its hearth, in full sunlight, using a silver spear with his true name engraved on it and that has never drew the blood of another creature.
The second is based on the fact that vampires are made of Chroma, and chroma can be destroyed by exposure to Sin. Then a strong enough radiance could, in theory, delete all the Chroma a vampire is made of and eliminate it.
