Asthena

Asthena is a city located on the .

Before the , Asthena was one of the major cities of Mersan. Like many of the cities on the east of the Orfeni Mountains, it degraded due its distance from the capital and isolated position.

After the construction of the Orfeni Tunnel and of the nocturnal station, along with the incentives from the government, many have decided to move to Asthena. The city is slowly regaining power and importance.

Life in the City

Asthena was once a collection of small fishing villages. Abandoned ports and settlements can be seen all around the city and the Imith Lake, many of this have been destroyed by the elements or have become refuges of animals and sometimes bandits.
